Wind

The wind you ca n not see, nor taste, nor smell.
But all the same we can not tell.

Where He goes, or where He came,
We know not, it is all the same.

He moves in us and around us,
And where we see His work we should join,
If it be His will.

Forever It Seems

Forever it seems, that I wait for you and yet you never come.
Forever it seems, that you come a little closer and yet father away everyday.
Forever it seems, who will count the years it took for you to reach me.
Forever it seems, my love at last we have found each other.
Forever it seems since you were taken from me, will you ever come back?
Forever it seems, that I must endure the torment of not seeing your eyes full of life, love and joy.
Forever it seems will never end.

Wildfire

There is a country that has more fires than any other country in the world.
These fires are no ordinary fires, but these fires burn from the inside and work their way out. They do not kill the ones they burn. Fires like these cannot be put out when they are started, and they make the people they burn happy.
The fires that I speak of are those, not of this world but the spiritual world, started by the Holy Ghost. These fires are not deadly, but grow whatever they burn.
I pray every day that America would be the country that has more fires than any other in the world. I pray even more that I would be one of those that He starts a fire in. I pray that God would devour America with fires so hot that no one could stand against them

The Bout Called Life

I advance towards my opponent and every step I take,
I am immediately fronted with a bombardment of thoughts, all of them beating my brain as though they were hornets sent to torment me about one thing...my sin.

"I am ashamed!" I cry aloud.
"As well you should be." said the voice of sin, cracked and hoarse it sounded.
"Why did God Almighty abandon me to fight the world all alone?" I wondered with anger.
"God, ha! God never loved you. What? You think He created you with an actual purpose?I will tell you why you where made." said sin.
"Why, oh why was I made?" said I
" To be laughed at every single time you mess up." said sin sarcastically.

And then at that moment a voice from the side of the strip called out to me
"Why do you doubt me? Was I not there when you needed me? Even in the matters that you thought meant nothing. Am I not your Father, son of mine? Come back to Me" said the voice lovingly and warmly.

I realized that it was God, my Coach through the bout called life. I dropped every thing and asked Him to take me and use me the way that He sees fit.

The Encounter

I stood still, very still. The breath that once was in me was gone, my blood turned to ice.
My mouth wide; anger, curiosity, and amazement surged over me. For the Tempter stood in front of me, with a twisted smile upon his beautiful, yet evil face.
"You scum," He said, " you rotten, no good human. You have spat in the very face of God Almighty."
I didn't know how to answer, But there I stood speechless because of his accusation.
"You wonder how? I will tell you, worthless piece of clay. You claim to be a Christian" , He said mockingly, " and yet you only play Christian on the days you go to church. Every other day you are ensnared by my wiles, I know, you never knew it was me. Did you?" He paused awaiting an answer, but no answer could come forth from my mouth.
"I thought not." At that moment I fell to my knees, and prayed, prayed like there was no tomorrow.

My eyes opened, the sleep heavy in my eyes. I remembered the encounter with Satan, I gasped and looked around...I sighed, it was only a dream.

Chapter 3

While winter was growing old and the new year was ready to be born;Julius along with Jamos, Kent, and Balian-three of his best students-went to prepare the yule ceremony; a great honor among the people in Julius' time.

"Master, how did you come to choose us?" asked Balian, as was the custom to begin the ceremony with a thoughtful question . Julius looked at each of them, and said

"I chose each of you for your talents. I chose you, Jamos, for your nimble tongue. And you, Kent, for you are apt to learn, and in return to teach. And you, Balian, for your way with weapons-any king would be proud to have you as their champion fighter."

They soon made their way to the grove where the ceremony would take place.

Julius sent Balian to fetch the logs for the ceremonial fire, for Balian was the strongest of the three. While Balian was gone Julius, Jamos, and Kent stayed and prepared the fire ring.

When they were through building the fire ring, Balian had returned with five trees cut into small logs.

"Good Balian, you got enough" said Jamos facetiously.

When the sun was setting beyond the hills all the princes were being lead by Justin, a jealous young prince. Justin walked up to Julius and said with resentment in his voice

"Why was I not chosen to help with the ceremony, my lord?"

"Because, Justin, you are to reckless and your emotions rule over you, not you over them." said Julius calmly. At these words Justin stomped off to take his place at the twenty foot fire ring.

Jamos walked up to Julius and asked what was wrong with Justin, but the only answer he got was a sigh.

The ceremony went according to plan and everyone went back to the school so they could get a fresh start on the new year, with the exception of Julius, Jamos, Kent, Balian, and Justin.

Justin, who was fuming at Julius' words earlier, walked right up to Julius and spat in his face. Balian immediately drew his sword from its sheath, but was halted by Julius with a slight gesture of his hand.

"You old man, if you were not surrounded by your pathetic pupils I would kill you right here, right now." said Justin angrily.

"And you only prove my words true young Justin. You could be great, if you would but give up your pride and take control of your emotions."said Julius calmly.

"Let me kill this dog, if he is worthy to be called such." bellowed Balian.

"No, he is not worth the bloodshed." said Julius firmly.

"I give you this one word of promise, O great Julius teacher of filth, I will return and I will take your life." as soon as Justin said this he ran swiftly to his horse and quickly galloped away.

"Master, what was all that about?" asked Kent starring off the way Justin rode.

Julius did not answer but looked off into the sunset.

Mississippi Old And Dear

Mississippi old and dear,
State of magnolias comfort my fear.

Fear of pain for a nation,
all because of a new sensation.

Mississippi old and dear,
State of magnolias comfort my fear.

Chivalry is dead and no one cries,
For his humble beginning and swift demise.

Mississippi old and dear,
Sate of magnolias comfort my fear.

For childhood is dead
and all the young turn to old.

Mississippi old and dear,
State of magnolias comfort my fear.
